I am just trying to say is that it seems premature to jump the gun and say this is a generation defining game, especially when there are equally impressive or better games in the market.
And Witcher 3 seems like a distant past even though imo that game is still a benchmark of modern gaming, especially when that is not a big studio production. It feels like even great PS4 titles like Horizon and Uncharted 4 with everything they got right didnt get as much praise as this. However, it feels like they conveniently forgot all the great games that came before. I am not in total disagreement with these statements, I am a fan of the franchise and I have played the original trilogy multiple times.
